The main components of a water tanker sprinkler truck include the tank body, chassis, water pump, spraying system, power take-off (PTO), and piping valves. The tank body is typically made of high-quality carbon steel plate or 304 stainless steel, with a volume ranging from 2 to 30 cubic meters.
The tank body is mostly elliptical cylindrical or square, often divided into 2-3 compartments to reduce liquid sloshing, and coated with anti-rust paint. The tank opening has a large and a small cover for easy water filling and ventilation. It is equipped with a dedicated self-priming water pump, featuring self-priming capability, a maximum range of 28 meters, and adjustable spray modes such as direct jet and mist. It supports connection to fire hose reels. The spraying system includes front spray nozzles, rear spray nozzles, side spray sprinklers, and a high-level water cannon, covering front spray, rear spray, and side spray functions, with a spray width generally ≥20 meters.
